Finance Manager Job Opening With Farmchem Kenya.

Farmchem, a leading agricultural inputs importer and supplier in Kenya, with a focus on East African market expansion and providing innovative farming solutions to farmers is seeking a qualified, dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Finance Manager.

Candidate’s Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. MBA/Masters an added advantage
* Must be a CPA (K) holder or ACCA finalist
* 5-10 year post qualification commercial track record in a medium sized business with hands on working knowledge of ERP systems

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure clarity of business KPIs and challenge the finance team
* Drive strategy supporting financial rationale for new investments and marketing initiatives
* Production of group accounts, annual budgets and 3 year strategic business plans
* Ensuring the integrity of consolidation and provide insightful analysis/commentary
* Critically reviewing/applying/enforcing financial processes and controls
* Liaising with auditors and key stakeholders across the business
* Producing ad hoc, high quality management information
* Undertaking strategic project work where necessary

Desired Skills and Ability
* You will be an experienced manager used to leading a performing team
* Demonstrate sound commercial finance experience and current technical accounting knowledge
* Proven administrative, leadership and management ability in the areas of strategic planning and organizational development
* Possess the ability to work on own initiative, prioritize work, handle pressure and take day-to-day decisions on the running.
