Applications are invited for the post of a Business Development Assistant at Baraka Agricultural College –Income Generating Unit.
The successful candidate will be integral in raising the Baraka Highlands Honey profile and securing new clients and customers.
Responsibilities
Visit clients on a periodic basis or participate in business development functionsExecuting the sales plan formulated by the units overall sales and marketing strategyIdentify and develop business opportunitiesIncrease the unit’s involvement with existing clientsAnalyze market information and competitive intelligenceAdopt a hand on approach in monitoring the implementation and execution of marketing strategies.Possess a certificate or diploma in Marketing or Business AdministrationSome experience in Sales/ Marketing or Business DevelopmentAble to work with minimal supervisionOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding presentation skills and can handle courses participantsDemonstrate outstanding maturity and initiativeEntrepreneurial capabilities Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.Willingness to work both in the field and off-fieldRemuneration commensurate with experience will be offered.
