An F.M.C.G manufacturing company with presence in the East Africa region is looking to hire a HR Officer to be based in Mombasa.
Key responsibilities:
Provide all recruitment administration supportManage the new joiner process from offer letter through to joining instructions and inductionProvide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective mannerHandle maternity, paternity, and parental leave processes and queriesHandle health and safety processes and queriesAssist in the development of HR policies and proceduresContribute to HR projects such as introducing a new induction programmeEnter data into the HR system so that accurate records are maintained,Liaise with payroll for paymentsManage the absence recording systemAdminister the probationary review periodsMaintain and develop the personnel filing systemManage the leaver administration processProvide support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance proceduresAssist with the development and maintenance of human resource policies and proceduresCarry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the HR departmentUndertake other duties CBA negotiation /union matters for union-sable staffLeave management/sick offsIn charge of medical facilitation for all staffEnsure compliance of statutory requirementsOnly candidates short-listed for interview will be contacted.
