• Manage quarterly/annual closing for GE Africa including completion of closing packages, commercial performance and base cost analysis, investor relations communication and cross business revenue / order commentary
• Perform commercial analysis in the form of variance analysis of actuals vs. plan/estimates of Orders and Revenues each over $1B, understanding of key deal activity, wins and losses
• Ownership of GE Africa roll up of Orders and Revenues across all businesses in sub-Saharan Africa during Planning Sessions (OP, S2, GPB, SRO)
• Work with GE Africa Commercial Finance team in roll up of commercial pulse / QMI process
• Ownership of GE Africa Base Cost analysis and planning of Readiness to Serve and OPEX costs and CCL ledger maintenance across the region
• Ownership of significant investment spend on Imagination Breakthroughs, NPIs and facility projects
• Perform and report out say / do ratio analysis of commercial performance of NPI and IB investments
• Management of Finance resource (FMP)
• Support the GE Africa GPB /S2 roll up and story board
• Support CEO and CFO with data analysis to drive business decisions
• Support CEO & CFO with external and internal communication
• Review business case on strategic imperatives (e.g. NPI) for GE Africa
• Finance point of contact GE Africa HQ requests/analysis• Chartered Accountant, MBA or equivalent
• 8+ years’ work experience in finance/accounting with 5+ years in FP&A (preferable)
• CAS/FMP background added advantage
• Proven interpersonal abilities
• Good PC skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)

• Excellent analytical skills
• Effective and decisive under pressure
• Small team management / Supervisory experience
