Tin Tin Restaurant is seeking a qualified and motivated cook to join its Kitchen department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals as per order and maintaining the cleanliness of their work areas.

Requirements:

Tin Tin Restaurant is seeking a qualified and conscientious Storekeeper to join its stores department. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and compiling records and reports of supplies and equipment for the restaurant. Further, they will ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained, that all goods, perishable and non-perishable are stored under ideal conditions and that maximum security applies at all times, particularly when receiving or issuing goods.

Degree/Diploma in Procurement & Stores Management2 Years previous experience in a similar positionStrong numeracy skillsGood time management skillsHigh personal integrityAble to work under pressureTrustworthiness is essentialOrder goods and supplies to ensure that maximum/minimum stock levels are maintained.Liaise with Procurement Officer on the ordering of goods.Ensure that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the agreed price.Ensure the timely and correct completion of all administrative records in respect of deliveries.Complete all documentation and take the necessary action in cases of non-delivery, substandard deliveries or over pricing.Ensure that all items are stored correctly, in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and that no food items are stored on the floor.Ensure correct stock rotation and that issues are effected on a first in, first out basis.• Ensure that all issues are made against requisitions and that no items leave the storeroom without the appropriate documentation or signature.Ensure maximum security of all storeroom areas, that no unauthorised person enters the stores or is issued with a key allowing access.Inform management and follow agreed procedures in the case of spoilage or damage of any item.Take stock at prescribed intervals and ensure that all necessary administration is completed without delay.A competitive remuneration will be offered to the successful candidates.
