1. Assistant Information Systems Auditor.
The Job: Reporting to the Information Systems Auditor, the holder will undertake reviews of the NKCC’s ICT infrastructure and provide assurance to management on the adequacy of the system controls.Conducting regular risk assessments in the company’s Information System and ICT Infrastructure and recommending measures to mitigate them.Contribute to the development of the annual Information Systems audit plan.Execute Information systems Audit reviews based on annual Information Systems Audit plan.Provide support to other assurance processes to ensure the overall system audit opinion is incorporated and risks identified in the underlying information systems and entire company.Monitor the implementation and operation defined controls and recommendations on an ongoing basis.Ensure that financial and operational audit programmers’ include sufficient and relevant information systems audit tests.Ensure that the company’s automated systems and information technology are in compliance with the Company Policies and Procedures requirementsBachelors Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering from a recognized University.Professional Qualifications in Certified Information Systems Audit (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)CPA /ACCA will be an added advantage.1-2 years experience in Information Systems audit within an internal audit function or external audit work experience specializing in Information Systems audit from a reputable audit firm.Ability to apply professional and other skills acquired in an ERP environment.Good understanding of information systems controls and techniques for evaluating such controls, concept of risk and risk assessment.Sufficient understanding of diverse information systems environment and architecture, software, computer operations and systems lifecycle.Thorough understanding of business processes and of Network Security and controls for LAW/WAN.Knowledge and experience in the use of CAATS/auditing software is desirable.Detailed knowledge of information systems governance and security principles and practices.Excellent in written and verbal communication, numerical, analytical and report writing skills.Must be proactive and innovative keeping abreast with technological advancements.Working knowledge on SAP will be an added advantage.Must have ability to work independently with minimum supervision and a team player with good interpersonal skills.Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the holder will follow up on the procurement of quality goods and services at competitive prices.Facilitating the procurement of goods and services for the companyPrepare requests for proposalsFollow up on tender documents, prepare letters of invitation to bidders to attend tender openings, facilitate tender opening sessions and Implement decisions of Tender /Procurement and Disposal committeesMonitoring the position of individual requisitions and expedite delivery of goods and servicesMaintain a database of pre-qualified suppliersReview contracts and liaise with the legal department on preparing service level agreements based on tender documentsOffer secretarial services to Procurement Committee and Disposal Committee MeetingsFacilitating preparation and consolidation of annual Procurement Plan in liaison with all departmentsPreparation of Procurement reports and submission of the same to the Head of ProcurementAcademic Qualifications - Bachelors Degree in Purchasing and Supplies or its equivalentProfessional Qualifications - Familiarity with the Public Procurements and Disposals Act, 2005Experience - 4 years and above prior experience in a similar job in a busy environment.Proficiency with standard office computer applicationsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesGood analytical, report writing, and Basic supervisory skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsReporting to the Procurement Officer, the holder will provide support in the procurement of goods and services.
