Description
Develop and establish full software ecosystem in support of Intel's educational project in Kenia.
The person in this position will act as a technical program and/or project manager as well as a product evangelist. He or she will be a part of a dynamic Intel team mainly consisting of application engineers, sales and account manager at Intel Kenia. The key objective is to ensure that software products and applications from African ecosystem run best on Intel's latest and upcoming platforms and technologies. This means working closely with various teams from Intel, partner companies and requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures to discover and assess new software enabling project opportunities in a constantly changing environment. This person will be expected to provide analysis reports and business justifications for new technical programs or projects with an eye on expected return of investment in terms of committing engineering resources and allocating hardware. The role includes supporting and influencing software developers, as well as evangelizing Intel software tools and technologies to the software developer community.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent) in a scientific or engineering discipline, 10+ years of experience in software industry for mobile platforms, fluent in English.
Additional qualifications include:
Excellent communication and presentation skills in front of technical and business audiences with proficiency in spoken and written English
Strong time and project management skills
Ability to work in highly matrixed environments, and to build alliances both inside and outside of the organization.
Ability to self-manage, self-educate and self-develop
