Job Description

Serve as main point of contact on all IT-related services for Jumia Kenya (I.T rep)Defining and monitoring the I.T process.Communicate effectively with staff to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.Continually seek opportunities to increase staff and client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.Coordinate the training of staff on how to use the Jumia systems, and mentoring and training new ICT support staffCoordinate implementation of new systems.Ensuring the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provisionCoordinate with service providers to ensure proper service delivery to the organization.Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attackManaging crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems by resolving or escalating issues in a timely fashion.Act as the onsite shop manager.Advise management during acquisition of new systems and assets related to I.TAssist in hiring of new talent to join the I.T or related department.Recommending information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.Keeping up with the latest technologies.You have a degree in ITYou have a minimum of 3 years experienceYou are fluent in both written and spoken English.For this position we are looking at someone flexible, patient, professional, rigorous and pro-active.
