Area of Specialization: Speech and Language Pathology
PhD in Speech and Language Pathology or related field from a recognized institutionCertificate of Clinical competence for Speech Language Pathology from a recognized institutionAt least three (3) years university teaching experience in a recognized universityDemonstrate ability to teach at least two of the following areas:Basic Communication ProcessesSpeech and Language PathologyBasic AudiologyAutistic Spectrum and Adult Language DisordersAssessment & Diagnosis Language DisordersDemonstrate ability to supervise graduate students in the following areas:Clinical practicumPhonology disordersSpeech/ motor disordered adultsFor those applying for teaching positions above Tutorial Fellow they will be employed on permanent and pensionable terms.
The terms of service for non teaching positions include a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance. Successful candidates will be offered two (2) year renewable performance - based contract and gratuity will be paid at the end of the contract.
