Job Title: Operations Manager

Our client is a unique family entertainment and gaming company offering fan filled activities for both parents and their kids.
They are looking to expand and open other establishments in major upcoming malls and as such they need to hire an Operations Manager to oversee the general day to day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and facilitate all elements of the entertainment plans.
- Ensure management team is enforcing good guest relations in all areas.
- Analyzes operations and evaluates productivity in relations to objectives.
- Determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, and/or policy changes to make recommendations to CEO to enhance success.
- Strive to maintain high customer satisfaction with all customers
- Participating in market surveys to support the development of new gaming activities
- Ensures all gaming equipment is timely repaired and serviced and in working order at all times.
- Review and support all promotions and provide input and suggestions.
- Ensuring security of clients, staff and property
- Managing events such as birthdays, parties, shows etc
- Managing staff on the ground and monitoring their activities
- Responsible for hiring, retaining, promoting, performance evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating employee with concurrence of the General Manager and the Human Resources department.
- Compiles and Manages annual budget and periodic forecasting.
- Ensures proper procedures are followed when gaming equipment is placed on or taken off the floor.
- Maintains excellent relationships with vendors, staying informed of game and related product performance.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in business management, administration or related field
- At least 5 years experience in similar role
- Working background in hospitality preferred
- At least a bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
- Computer literate
- Strong public relations skills
- Speedy action and proactive
- Ability to work independently
- Accuracy and attention to detail
