Duma Works is recruiting a Senior Account Executive for one of our clients.
Purpose of the job: The responsibility of the Account Executive is to provide day-to-day support / services to assigned clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a portfolio of the clients’ accounts and monitoring their on-going activities with an objective of ensuring they are completed in a timely and comprehensive manner to the client’s satisfaction and as per the budget with broader supervision.
- Preparing clear briefs as per clients’ requirements for execution by the creative studio.
- Attend and facilitate (as appropriate) all status meetings, client meetings and client calls.
- Check each client’s job status in the creative department and updating the client on the same with a view of having timely and complete jobs as per clients’ expectations.
- Preparing comprehensive and timely reports to clients of all jobs in the system.
- Prepare and send out contact reports within 24 hours of a meeting held with a client and supplier.
- Prepare and send out client status report on the agreed day by both client and agency.
- Implementing the approved sales and marketing strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain a good working relationship with all clients and fellow colleagues.
- Establish relationships with the clients and taking part in pitches for new contracts.
- Be the primary liaison between clients and company to discuss and identify their business needs;
- Research clients’ products, services, plans, competitors and target markets
- Collaborating with the other team members in preparation of recommendations, marketing strategies and actions for the client
- Assists in monitoring budget, research and similar items as assigned.
- Act as a liaison between all departments and the client to ensure a timely completion of projects.
Indicative Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 4 years of experience in client management in an advertising or creative agency.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are required.
- Effective and professional client facing skills.
- Team player and able to work with minimal supervision
- Confident working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong work ethos and flexibility.
- Dedication and enthusiasm for delivering high standard of work and adding value to projects for the clients.
- Willingness to learn.
