Procurement Assistant Job Description
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Assistant will be responsible for:
Purchasing and warehousing.
Storekeeping.
Undertaking inventory and stock control.
Procuring goods and services.
Carrying out market surveys and research.
Disposal of stores and equipment.
Processing the agenda for the tender/procurement committees and assist in implementing the decisions thereof.
Maintenance of all procurement records including tender and evaluation records and minutes of associated meetings
Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience for Procurement Assistant Jobs in Kenya
For this position, candidates should possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following. Commerce, Business Administration (Supplies Management Option), Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Marketing or their equivalent from a recognized Institution.
At least two years of proven experience in relevant field
Relevant computer skills.
Meet the requirements of leadership and integrity as prescribed in Chapter six (6) of the constitution.
