The overall responsibility is to extend the organization’s functions to the community level through social and administrative structures.

Location: Nairobi


The overall responsibility is to extend the organization’s functions to the community level through social and administrative structures.


Responsibilities


•To mobilize and sensitize target communities to effectively participate in project activities
•Liaise with local and county administration on community matters
•To facilitate target communities to develop beneficiary selection criteria
•To work jointly with the Project Manager and elected community leaders to facilitate the membership drives
•Facilitate beneficiaries to establish and run committees and maintenance funds
•To mobilize target communities to effectively participate in the project baseline survey
•Liaising with stakeholders at the local level to support in building of synergies
•To maintain records of trained artisans/technicians, Trainers of Users and beneficiaries distribution lists for different solar systems
•To prepare activity reports and share with the Project Manager


Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Attributes required


•A Degree in Social Work related field/degree in education, BA in sociology.
•At least 2 years relevant experience
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office software will be an added advantage
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•High level of attention to details in all aspects of work responsibilities
•Ability to work as a member of a team and to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously
•The ability to work on their own with minimal supervision across multiple projects


Benefits:
Gross salary: 220,400 – 235,710 Kenyan Shillings/ month depending on skills and level of relevant experience. NSSF, airtime and transportation allowances, work computer, benevolent fund,
