Head of Marketing Job Role Responsibility:

This role is conscious to provide direction, administration and expert-level sales leadership to our sales and marketing staff to facilitate progress of hotel level revenue and room night sales.

This will consist of engaging hotel leadership, current industry trends and sales figures, assessing local market dynamics; determining the strategic direction for marketing and sales operations, ensuring plans and strategy are implemented in a timely and effective manner by hotel management.

Coordinate cluster sales and marketing activities; develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets, Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities which benefit hotels with common needs, market segments, and ensure the effective integration of national marketing initiative locally and at regional andinternational levels through tactical expos and promotions.
Qualifications for Head of Sales & Marketing Jobs in Kenya


Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

5 years or more of progressive hotel Sales experience in a similar capacity.

Demonstrated history of success

Results driven, energetic, and focused

Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset & MBA in Marketing is an added advantage

Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line

Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
