Manufacturing Company Shift Supervisor Foreman Job in Nairobi, Kenya (35K)

A well-established Manufacturing Company in Nairobi is looking for a Shift Supervisor Foreman. 

The job holder will be in charge of the entire production department to ensure efficient delivery of work.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine staff requirement per shift.


• Planning and assigning workloads.


• Train and assess staff.


• Keep up to date with moulds, machines and other equipment parts and repairs.


• Liaise with the maintenance department for equipment that is needed for mould changes.


• Ensure that all machines are well stocked for raw and packing materials required for the whole shift.


• Play an active role in implementing and encouraging good manufacturing practices. (GMP)


• Get involved in and implement kaizen, ISO training and project implementation.


• Re-organise, clean and maintain production areas.


• Attend to any unplanned breakdown.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a diploma or its equivalent in an Engineering discipline. 


• At least 5 years of working experience.


• Strong leadership skills and urgency towards achieving production targets.


• Ability to maintain self discipline.


• Knowledge in workplace health and safety, legislation policies and management systems.


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Accurate analytical thinking, result oriented and a good team player.


• Computer literate.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 35,000/=
