Our client is a kid’s entertainment facility offering fun filled activities for both parents and their kids. They seek to hire an operations manager to oversee the general day to day activities i.e. Customer service, Staffing, Gaming equipment management, Logistics, Event Management etc. Candidates with a casino, event management and gaming services background are encouraged to apply.

Operations Manager Job Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Ensure management team and floor staff is enforcing good guest relations in all areas

Strive to maintain high customer satisfaction with all customers

Handling customer complains

General Floor Management

Ensuring security of clients, staff and property

Design, develop, implement, and facilitate all elements of the entertainment plans

Supervising the day to day activities

Staffing

Responsible for hiring, retaining, promoting, performance evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating employee with concurrence of the General Manager and the Human Resources department

Managing staff on the ground and monitoring their activities

Preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties

Gaming equipment management

Overseeing installation of new equipment

Ensures proper procedures are followed when gaming equipment is placed on or taken off the floor

Ensures all gaming equipment is timely repaired and serviced and in working order at all times

Reporting

Providing regular updates to the management to enhance success

Event Management

Managing events such as birthdays, parties, shows etc
Minimum Qualification for Operations Manager Jobs in Kenya


Preferably a Degree in business management, administration or related field

At least 5 years experience in similar role

Working background in hospitality preferred

At least a bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field

Computer literate

Strong public relations skills

Speedy action and proactive

Ability to work independently

Accuracy and attention to detail
