Job Description


Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners. Facilities the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.


RESPONSIBILITIES Channel Management:


· Managing Oracle Partner sales relationships with all training partners in and East Africa · Growing African Operations total sales through leveraging Oracle partners · Managing all partner escalations to satisfactory conclusion · Working with partners to develop and implement both business and marketing plans · Monthly reporting on partner performance · Implementing best practices from other countries · New partner development – identifying prospective partners and managing them into the business, ensuring both optimal sales and delivery coverage · Working with the Oracle’s Alliance & Channels team, ensuring alignment with Oracle’s other partners · Working as part of an Internal/External Sales team, working with both partners and Oracle Sales reps to maximize country sales · Provide weekly accurate sales forecasts to Manager · Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual partner sales targets · Coordination and alignment with Oracle African Operations Sales Manager and the sales teams · Reports to the Oracle EMEA Channel Director QUALIFICATIONS: · 10 plus years experience in a Services, IT or IT Training Sales environment · Must have had account or partner management experience · Proven business acumen in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment · Ability to work in a virtual team environment involving Alliance & Channels Field Sales and other Oracle representatives · Good communication and persuasive skills in English and Swahili, all written and verbal · Proven ability to work through others · Professional with good organizational and planning skills · High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment · Knowledge of the African IT markets a must WHAT WE OFFER: · Constant and ongoing training · Full range of employment benefits As part of Oracle’s employment process candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process, prior to an offer being made.
