Our client, a leading provider of easy-to-use wireless solutions designed for the protection and management of people, mobile and fixed assets, vehicles and containers is seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.


The ideal candidate must have related experience or training in Tracking, Security, Fleet management or Service sector.


Sales Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities

Determines annual unit and gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and
territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand,changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintains national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring,and appraising job results.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing
professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Knowledge and Skills for Sales Manager Jobs in Kenya


A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred;

Minimum of seven years of related experience or training in Tracking, Security, Fleet management or Service sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

Possess strong time management skills

Be commercially aware and have excellent presentation, sales & negotiation skills.

Should be confident, self-motivated, self-disciplined and driven to succeed

Possess a high degree of flexibility

A valid driver’s license
