Security Systems Technician Job Key responsibilities
Carry out pre-sales activities aimed at market penetration, relationship building, sales presentations and proposals to meet customer’s specific requirements.
Work closely with the Sales team and provide pre-sales technical support.
Analyze customer’s needs with aim of designing solutions, preparing proposals and making presentations to assist close sales.
Carry out installations for integrated security solutions ensuring resources are appropriately allocated and projects successfully completed.
Conduct surveys with the aim of generation of BQs or preparation of proposals for prospective clients.
Participation in tender requirements for technical submissions on integrated security systems.
Quality assurance management during installation to ensure compliance with required industry standards.
Competencies for Security Systems Technician Kenyan Jobs
KNEC Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent. Degree in related field will be added advantage.
At least 3years experience in the field of integrated security solutions (i.e. CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire alarms).
Significant experience in customer interaction in pre-sales environment.
Must have sound technical knowledge and experience in designing and deploying integrated security systems.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Should be willing to work under pressure
Strong organizational skills – efficiency in carrying out assigned tasks
