Health Safety Security Environment & Quality (HSSEQ) Engineer/Specialist
HSSEQ Engineer Key Accountabilities
Implementation and management of the organizations HSSEQ Management Systems in line with ISO and other recognized international standards
Facilitation of general compliance to company HSSEQ policies and procedures at company installations
Execution of HSSEQ risk assessments, inspections and audits at company installations and work sites
Facilitation of compliance to HSSEQ related legal requirements at company installations.
Accident and incident investigation and reporting
Management of reported near misses and anomalies including analysis, investigation and reporting
Investigation of HSSEQ related customer complaints
Follow up on implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from accident and incident investigations, near miss and anomaly reports, HSSEQ related customer complaints, HSSEQ internal and external audits and plant inspections
HSSEQ induction and training
Provision of HSSEQ Technical support at company installations
Analysis of HSSEQ performance indicators and reporting
Emergency response planning and review
Requirements for the HSSEQ Engineer Job in Kenya
Degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences from a recognized University (Masters or Diploma in
Occupational Safety & Health will be an added advantage)
Minimum 1-5 years work experience in HSSEQ or Engineering Projects and Maintenance or Petroleum Installation management
Good analytical, presentation, report writing and communication skills
Good inter-personal skills, team player with ability to work under pressure
