Minimum Requirements

• OOP PHP (Experience with raw PHP is mandatory). Experience with one or more PHP frameworks is a plus)


• MySQL / MariaDB (MsSQL or PostreSQL is a plus)


• Linux system administration (Ubuntu Server, CentOS)


• Good quality presentation skills using HTML, CSS, jQuery


• LAMP Stack installation and management


• Source code management (extra points for Git)


• At least 5 years’ experience working in a busy software/web development house


• Excellent communication skills


• Willingness to learn

Preferred Requirements
 

This position entails a lot of support work as well. 

As such the following would be preferred:

• Clear understanding of domains, hosting environments, mail server management (PostFix), web server management (Apache, Nginx)


• DNS competence (MSDNS/ Bind/ PDNS)


• Database optimization


• Router configuration (VyOS)


• Be ready to help our esteemed clients out with a smile on your face. Especially the difficult ones.
