Candidate applying for Environment, Health & Safety Officer should have working knowledge of safety rules, able to conduct safety audit, conduct enquiry on accident, review of environmental aspect and impact, able to conduct health awareness program, Knowledge of Waste Management.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Health, and Safety Manager will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.


• Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.


• Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.


• Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.


• Perform analysis of company waste water to ensure compliance with local regulatory authority requirements and keep records of the same.


• Monitor compliance with safety procedures.


• Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.


• Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.


• Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.


• Prepare EHS (Environmental Health and safety) plan for the company.


• Ensure compliances with statutory provisions and required documents


• Continuously raise awareness about safety amongst employees of the company.


• Ensure adequate and timely procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipment.


• Conduct daily site inspection, identify any risks, organize and conduct safety meetings, attend internal and external audits.


• Carry out accident investigation to find root cause, provide training for safety to staff, organize safety campaigns.


• Carry out mock drills, first aid training, identify scope of cost cutting in protective equipment without compromise on safety etc.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
