Job Title: HR Officer

Job Description

Performs a wide range of human
resources functions and ability to handle a large workforce.

Job scope includes;
interviewing & recruiting, and training and coaching new and existing
employees, compensation management, resolving disputes, managing attendance,
ensuring compliance in HR matters, employee relations, employee welfare.

Responsibilities

Handle the process of recruitment, including vetting
candidates, assisting with interviews, induction and on boarding.

Supporting internal and external inquiries and
requests related to the HR department

Training and development – co-ordinate trainings, be
timely as per the annual training plan.

Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and
electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves.

Managing employee attendance.

Good ability to handle employee issues and build
people relations.

Compiling reports for management

Processing payroll and assisting with the
documentation of employee compensation and benefits.

Planning training programs, workshops and seminars

Writing and submitting reports on HR activities as
required.

Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating
management-employee communications

Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to
improve workplace efficiency. Must be in touch with the trends.

Disciplinary management.

Education Required

University degree in Human Resources Management - at
least 3 years’ experience in HR Management

Diploma / Higher Diploma with above 5 years work
experience in a similar role.

Member of the Institute of HRM.

Must have farm estate/ Agriculture industry
experience in HR Management.

Must be able to relieve the HRM.

Good command of ERP especially SAPS system.

Prior experience in working with a big workforce.
