Estates Officer - Re-Advertisement

The Job

Reporting to the Legal Officer, the Estate Officer will be responsible for:-

Maintaining an inventory of all company properties including land buildingsEnsuring payment of statutory outgoings on land rates and rents » Sorting out land titles issuesEnsuring valuation of assets is carried out on regular basisEnsuring maintenance of company houses is carried outHandling tenants complaintsEnsuring that vacant houses are let at market rates and as such carry out rental assessments and negotiations of leasesEnsuring collection of rent and preparation of monthly statementsEnsuring payments of utilities bills of all properties and sort out issues arising there fromReviewing schedules of dilapidations and building maintenanceAdvising on the performance o the propertiesReviewing provision of services by those contracted to maintain the building installations and equipmentDiploma holder in Building Construction, Property Management & Estate Agency, Land Survey, PantryDegree in Land Economics or related filed will be an added advantage.Should be a Registered ValuerMust have 4-6 years experience in Estate/Property ManagementMust demonstrate time management skillsAn eye for detailGood interpersonal and communication skillsComputer literacy and familiarity with standard office computer applications2. Web Researcher / Administrator

The Job

Reporting to the Business Application Manager, the Web Researcher will be responsible for:-

Seeking, collecting and verifying industry date/information from all relevant internet sources.Documentation/ recording Information - Entering, Transcribing, recording, storing or maintaining collected information.Interpreting the meaning of Information for others - preparing reports in findings, and translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used to all units in the organization.Monitoring industry statistics and following trends in trade literature.Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing staff.Identifying advertising/ marketing opportunities on the internet and advising the organization.Managing New KCC Presence onlineAny other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Computer Studies or related field from a recognized institution.Certified Internet Web professional or equivalent3-4 years experience in use of the Internet in undertaking research surveys will be an added advantage.Exceptional interpersonal and communication (Oral & Written) skillsGood analytical and inter-personal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, under pressure and to meet deadlines.Knowledge of Wireless universal Resource FileSocial book markingOnline feedback forms and publicationsIntranet and Extranet integration.Proficiency in PHP and mySQL coupled with good understanding of Content management systems specifically JoomlaE-commerce system IntegrationE-mail MarketingSearch Engine optimization and submissionExtremely detail oriented and organized.If you meet the above requirements, send your applications indicating position applied for together with detailed Curriculum Vitae, indicating current salary, copies of certificates, testimonies and contacts of at least three references and daytime telephone contacts to:
