Our Client is well-established Group of Companies with vast experience in the water industry. They seek to recruit a qualified Technical Sales Engineer with both commercial and technical skills in the Water Industry and with a combination of sales experience and exposure in project design. Engineers with Mechanical, Bio systems or Water training backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply

Technical Sales Engineer Job Key Responsibilities:

Identify and solicit business for water projects.

Lead in the development of technical designs and bill of quantities.

Preparation and submission of tender documents.

Supervision of contracts for boreholes, piped water and water irrigation systems

Design water treatment plants, pump systems, stations and pipelines.

Designing sewer improvement programs.

Technical engineering support to sales team aimed at generating sales volumes.

Build capacity within the sales team through product training and offering.

Support customers, designers and maintenance engineers in solving hydraulic problems.

Prepare a weekly, monthly and yearly sales and marketing plan.

Prepare monthly reports of meetings, leads, project developments.

Operate according to the approved budget and management instructions.
Skills and qualifications for Technical Sales Engineer Jobs in Kenya

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Bio systems, Chemical, Mechanical or water Engineering.

Should have a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in the water industry.

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Should possess strong work ethics with a strong sense of integrity

Should be a self- starter, thinks on his feet, proactive and has network and strong influencing skills

Proactive with strong decision making, persuasion, leadership and communication skills
