Finance Intern

About Action Africa Help International
Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is an African-led, regional organisation, working in Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia.
It brings over 25 years’ experience working with communities in conflict and post-conflict situations, including refugees, internally displaced people, host communities and communities in urban slums.
AAH-I is looking for a committed individual on internship to directly assist the Finance Team with a wide range of duties related to account reconciliation and analysis.
S/he will support in month-end financial reports, journal entries; balance sheet reconciliation and audits and data entry.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Degree in Bachelor of commerce or related field
- Professional certification – CPA 2 or ACCA 2
- A good command of both written and spoken English
- Basic understanding of MS Office; email
- High degree of integrity and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
