Our client is currently seeking to fill the above position.
 

The successful candidate will be tasked with a major role in the implementation revenue management strategies and processes, in order to optimize and maximize the hotel revenues
 

Scope of the Role

• Implement revenue management operations, procedures & operational standards
  


• Optimize and expand distribution channels.     


• Advice the Hotel Management on business development opportunities


• Set in a revenue management culture.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue management and allocation strategy of the hotel


• Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.


• Execute competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.


• Formulate  pricing strategies


• Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.


• Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report


• Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity


• Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department.


• Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.


• Ensure hotel personnel is fully competent in the use of all systems


• Responsible for best practice standards to include:

1. competitor analysis;


2. market modeling;


3. distribution yield management;


4. business mix yield management;


5. pricing control and new pricing concepts

• Evaluate performance of distribution channels and contracted


• Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.

Requirements

• Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism Studies.


• 3 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience in a 5 star hotel.


• MS-Office proficient


• Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets
