Silverstone Tyre Centre Branch Manager Career in Nairobi, Kenya




Silverstone Tyres Limited is a tyre Distribution and fitment Company specializing in the continental tyres, General among others across Kenya. 




We’re the pioneers in the establishment of distribution of continental tyres in Kenya and we pride ourselves to tyre sales, Batteries and Alignment services for your safety.




To support the implementation of our business strategy we are looking for qualified and experience individual with a customer driven orientation to fill the position Branch Manager based in Nairobi.




Tyre Centre Branch Manager Position- Nairobi



 


 


The overall responsibility is to achieve sales targets for branch as set out by Head of Retail. Manage branch employees, up to 6 employees, including but not limited to discipline, reward and recognition, succession planning, development and retention initiatives, with support from local HR.

Main responsibilities 




 
1. Operational Management


  • Planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling of all branch staff.

  • Ensure that all branch staff fully adheres to correct procedures in relation to administration tasks and stock management. 

  • Ensure that all staff fully adheres to all policies and procedures.


2 .Personnel Management


  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of branch staff with support from local HR. 

  • Provide regular feedback to all staff on their performance. 

  • Coach and motivate branch staff to ensure peak performance. 

  • Develop and encourage positive working relationships within the branch and where issues arise resolve them, or if unable escalate to the Sales and Operations Manager


3. Business Development


  • Promote at every opportunity to existing and potential customers the range of services that we provide. 

  • Develop relationships with existing and potential customers to retain and grow branch business.

  • Bring forward ideas/suggestions for new products or services that could generate additional revenue.

  • Regularly review branch performance


4. Cost Management


  • Maintain all costs within targeted figures. 

  • Regularly review all costs and look for opportunities to reduce. 

  • Maximizes the branch’s potential by ensuring all branch and financial targets are met.


5. Quality Management


  • Ensure the branch is kept neat and tidy at all times. 

  • Ensure customer interaction by all staff, face to fact and over the telephone is in line with company policy. 

  • Ensure good work practices are being followed in the branch and all technical guidelines are being adhered to – following the policy of getting it right first time.


6. Health and Safety Management


  • Ensure full compliance by all staff with health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Promote and be a role model for health and safety in the branch.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Degree in Business or Finance and at least 3 years experience in same position.

  • Experience with MS Dynamics Navision will be an added advantage.
