Insurance Underwriter Job in Kenya

Our client, an insurance brokerage firm is looking to recruit an underwriter to undertake the following duties:

Duties / Responsibilities
 

Enquiring for quotations from insurance companies and preparing quotations for presentation,
 

Follow up on quotation sent.
 

Preparing risk notes, debit notes and credit note.
 

Preparing covers (New business and Renewals)
 

Issuing valuation slips and following up valuation reports.
 

Preparing renewal notices.
 

Follow up on renewals and extensions.
 

 

Receiving and responding queries from the clients.
 

Following up of policy documents and renewal confirmations from the underwriters,
 

Reviewing Policy Documents and dispatching.
 

Following up payments of the policies from the clients,
