Our client a dynamic leader in provision of  Fleet Management and Vehicle Tracking solutions  & Wireless & Navigation, Voice and Data solutions in Tanzania is currently seeking to fill the position of a an ICT Manager.
 

The successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties;

Job Location: Arusha
 

Job type: 2 years renewable contract
 

Language requirements: English & Swahili

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of Fleet Management and Vehicle Tracking System Software and Servers


• Manage the IT Department on a day to day basis and motivate team to work in the most efficient manner


• IT Policy, Strategy, Procedures and Controls Development and Formulation


• Holds regular meetings with IT team and effectively manages these sessions.


• Inspires colleagues to attain goals and pursue excellence.


• Ensuring adherence to company backup and disaster recovery plan


• Supervise and ensure timely resolution of IT related helps desk issues.


• Recruitment of new IT Team members.


• Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the company.


• Oversee Network Design/Configuration, Implementation and Maintenance,


• Implementation of network security as required by Company policy.


• Oversees troubleshooting and resolution of general user problems,


• Database Management, Forms and Reports creation.


• System Administration – Upgrades, New hardware/ software and configuration, and related patches to conform HW and OS environment. Testing and administration


• Mail Servers Management


• Monitoring service and performance levels of IT Suppliers


• Staff and User Training


• Managing Windows and Linux mail and exchange servers.


• Monitor stability, connectivity and performance of the Information access interfaces environment and related storage capacity


• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related studies


• 3 years working experience in a Fleet Management and / or Vehicle Tracking company


• 2 years’ experience in managerial level in a busy ICT Solutions environment


• Excellent team leadership and management skills with experience in managing staff performance and working with multi-disciplinary teams;
