Designation: Senior Presales Consultant – Enterprise Networks
 

Role Objective: The Role Holder will be responsible for growth and development of Enterprise Networking Solutions. 

He/she will develop opportunities for Cisco Enterprise Networking products across our client Business Units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and execute an innovative business plan to deliver on Cisco Enterprise Networking priorities in the market


• Responsible for pre-sales support for Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions portfolio and associated infrastructure required


• Understand, articulate and position Cisco"s end-to-end Enterprise Networking Architecture


• Engage with customers early in the sales cycle and throughout the sales process to understand their business needs and solution objectives


• In conjunction with the sales team, formulate a product / system proposal delivering more value to customers at better margins through optimally defined solutions


• Support the sales team and delivery team in delivering projects at the customer locations


• Scope software/ hardware requirements and desired outcomes, and work with relevant teams to deliver the required solution


• Support sales teams with product information, RFP’s, and updates in-line with launch


• Provide Technical Support expertise to sales exhibitions and events, in-conjunction with the sales team


• Manage proof of concept testing based on customer requirements, to demonstrate feasibility of a solution prior to a project rollout either on site or at the client’s offices


• Provide support to regional teams and Supply Chain as and when needed

Leadership & Relationship Roles:

• Closely liaises with the sales and Service Delivery teams to ensure the realization of both short-term and long-term organization goals


• Maintain close contact with both internal and external customers to enhance good customer experience and service delivery


• Mentor Presales Engineers/Consultants to take up a senior role in their area of expertise

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Engineering in Engineering / IT or any other related field


• 4-5 years’ experience in a technical role


• Minimum Cisco Certified Networking Professional certification


• Ideally educated to degree level in technical specialism


• Sound Knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Networking technologies

Soft Skills:

• Excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written


• Sales acumen


• In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices with a passion for excellence


• Excellent planning & organizing skills


• Fluent in local language and English, both written and spoken
