Vacancy: Project Based Human Resource Specialist

Medecins Sans Frontieres – Switzerland Kenya Mission
MSF Swiss is recruiting for an experienced Human Resource Specialist on a project basis.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the implementation process of a new MSF Job Description framework and its maintenance in Kenya OCG Mission. 

The position will work in close collaboration with the Coordination team of the mission and the technical referent in HQ.

He/she reports hierarchically to the HR Coordinator in Kenya.

 

Main responsibilities

• Develops implementation plan of the MSF IRFFG Job descriptions


• In collaboration with the Coordination team, will write and review the job specifications for each role


• Responsible for the implementation process and provides technical expertise until completion of the process


• Advises and guides the process with regard to administrative changes


• Organizes information meetings/ working groups to prepare the implementation ;


• Reports on implementation progress, shortcomings and risks to Referent at HQ and adapts planning and/or implementation process accordingly.


• Keep stakeholders informed


• Advises on a proper maintenance structure

Profile

• Minimum 3 year previous experience in  HR 


• Experienced  project manager


• Prior experience in implementation of function grids will be an asset.


• Competencies required: Planning and organizing, results and quality oriented analytical thinking, advisory skills.


• Ability to work efficiently and independently


• A good command of the English language, both written and spoken


• Computers skills and knowledge of World, Excel and Internet


• Good communication and presentation skills


• Ability to work independently, plan and organise his/her work.


• Previous MSF experience will be an added advantage. 

Start date: Immediately

Contract duration: 1 month
