Engineering Company Operations Manager Job in Nairobi, Kenya

Our client, an engineering company that is mainly involved in power lines construction, substations design and construction, generators and switchgear installations, solar systems and power systems for transmission is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager.

Location: Nairobi
 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to Safety and statuary regulations.


• Supervision of the operations department through the various project coordinators.


• Ensure that all projects are executed within timelines and budgets.


• Prepare monthly and weekly project reports for clients as well as management.


• Develop and maintain cordial relationships with clients that will translate to new and more business.


• Attend meetings anywhere the company has projects.


• Develop the technical team by way of facilitating trainings.


• Ensure that the company meets contractual obligations in every project or contract.

Qualification and Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in similar position.


• A degree in a technical field (a bias in engineering is preferred)


• A keen eye to details and be a self-starter
