Finken Holdings Limited is a professional technology developing company which mainly engages in food ingredients and processing equipment. 





We are specialized in turnkey projects services widely applicable to food industry such as dairy processing and beverage processing. 





We specifically engage in procedure design service, turnkey base project, equipment specification, design, installation, commissioning and training. 





To support our growth, we are looking for a self driven Senior Sales Executive.
 


Location: Nairobi with local and regional travel and occasional international travel.
 



 

Reporting to: Managing Director
 


The Role: The primary responsibility of the Senior Sales Executive is to generate sales to meet set sales targets. 





S/he will also be responsible for expanding market awareness of our products and expertise, managing projects and relationships with customers. 





Among other duties the position-holder will be responsible for:



1. Sales Volume Growth

  • Meeting annual sales targets by meeting the weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets;

  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions;

  • Understand the market landscape and identifying growth opportunities and new customer prospects;

  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers;

  • Offering after-sales support services;

  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education;

  • Investigating customer complaints and assuring prompt, effective solutions;

  • Monitoring trends, competitive activity, product development, and market penetration and recommend course of action to prevent loss of existing business;


2. Project management

  • Planning projects;

  • Staffing projects in consultation with the HR office;

  • Implementing projects;

  • Monitoring and controlling projects;

  • Evaluating projects to ensure they are delivered within timelines, within budget and in line with quality standards;


3. Supplies and stock management

  • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, or products to be procured;

  • Liaise with the finance and administration officer to determine the first moving products and reorder levels;

  • Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up sales for whatever reason are followed up until received in the stores;


4. Others

  • People management

  • Budgeting and budget control


The person
 


The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • A minimum of a Higher National diploma in Mechanical, Mecha-tronics engineering or a related field, or a bachelor degree in business;

  • Technical sales and support service experience in food processing equipment;

  • Understanding of the food industry;

  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and the internet;

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English;


Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Able to work independently;

  • Willingness and flexible to travel;

  • Previous experience in project management will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and aptitude for building relationships;

  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills;

  • A positive attitude;
