Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Job in Nairobi Kenya

A company based in Nairobi operating in the medical and pharmaceutical sector requires a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will be responsible:
 

Advising the Board of Directors on the financial implications, of various businesses and projects.
 

Preparation of long term strategic plan of the Company, providing high level proactive financial expertise and leadership to the company as a whole and direction for both short term and long term financial planning.
 

Leading the design and implementation of the structure of financial resources and all financial operations of the company.
 

Providing internal leadership and direction to immediate reports of the Finance Division.
 

Providing input in business planning and product costing.
 

 

Assisting in recruiting new officers for the company and develop training models for the company staff.
 

Training the finance department and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
 

Handling all statutory matters with the relevant authorities.
 

Requirements
 

The appropriate candidate must possess CPA/ACCA, a degree in a relevant discipline preferably augmented with an MBA and at least 10 years experience in similar position.
