Job Purpose

We are looking for an IT Support Technician. He/she will offer IT support for the implementation of all WYLDE programs, projects, meetings, gatherings, and any other initiative called upon. He/she will also advise on technology and how it can help us perform better, and in collaboration with the Operations Lead, oversee new systems design and development.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Ensure effective ongoing support for all systems in use by the company.

  • Provide regular reports to Operations on issues relating to the IT service support docket.

  • Manage day to day issues, escalating to the Operations Lead as appropriate.

  • Responsible for network protection and security

  • Capture staff and client requirements for procurement of systems and services as required.

  • Take regular inventory count and condition of all physical resources related to IT

  • Responsible for IT assets, tools, equipment, confidential information/records, and computer systems

  • Conduct system audits and prepare reports

  • Ensure value for money for IT assets (acquisition, maintenance)

  • Manage third party IT suppliers to ensure best value

  • Regular training of staff on IT related matters


Qualifications



  • University Degree in IT/BSc Computer Science

  • Any of the following: MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert CCNP: Cisco Certified Network Professional, RHCE: Red Hat Certified Engineer, CompTIA Network+, CCIE: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert.

  • Knowledge of IT Systems and Networking.

  • Mastery of the MS Suite

  • 2 years’ experience in the IT field  (preferable network administration and management)
