General Purpose of Position:

Our client is in search of a full time “local” Business Account to manage their Merchandising Solutions operations. The successful candidate must have a natural eye for quality workmanship.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Business Development for Merchandising including writing proposals and negotiating contractsBudgeting & Spend managementProject Implementation and personnel managementAdministration and reportingA minimum of a Bachelors degree. Minimum age 26 years and 3 years work experience at Senior levels. Must have proven experience with a team of at least 5 people. They must have proven ability to present to Senior Executives. Excellent presentation skills using Microsoft Office applications. Retail experience is a plus. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with excellent Entrepreneurial, Administrative and Communication abilities. Energy, Integrity and enthusiasm are an absolute necessity. Our client is a leading professional cleaning and allied services company in the hospitality industry. They seek to recruit focused, self driven professionals of high integrity in the operations department. The following two positions are vacant. Position: Operations Manager

Reports to the Head of Operations and a team of supervisors

Job Description
1. Responsible for implementing set standards in all the stations within the zone.
2. Contact person with the client
3. Responsible for guiding and motivating the supervisors.
4. Responsible for enforcing health and safety policies
5. Responsible for reporting on performance in all the stations within the zone.
1. Responsible for creating interpersonal relationships with the client
2. Among others

Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum ‘O’ level.
2. Minimum of a 2 year certificate course in housekeeping from Utalii college or Diploma in Housekeeping from a recognized institution
3. Must have worked in the service or hospitality industry for at least 5 years and with 3 years experience in a managerial position.
4. Excellent computer skills
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. Good skills in closing deals
7. Training in a business related course is an added advantage

Remuneration:
Kes. 25-35,000/= per month depending on experience.
