Internship Programme

Furaha Community Foundation operating in Huruma – Nairobi, a not - for - profit organization that serves to Empower the OVC’s and their Guardians through Education, Health and Economic Empowerment initiatives.

Invites interested interns in the below field of studies, or any other related field.

Communication/Journalism and Media, Information TechnologyFinance/AccountingSocial work/ Community Development/Project Management.Business Commerce and/or Business Administration.The intern should be fresh graduate (Diploma/Degree) or those in their final Year of College / University.

(3 to 6 months unpaid internship, with at least 6 hours each day)

Requirements: Desirable,

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, planning skills, self motivated and outgoing warm personality.Applicants must be able to be efficient, able to use their initiative and be a quick learner.Excellent English language abilityAbility to work flexibly in a team, focused, with enthusiasm and commitment.Computer literate; a skilled user of computer applications and able to utilize New Media forms.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and delivering results with limited supervision.Experience working with young people and knowledge of web based applications will be an added advantage.If you meet the above requirements Please send your CV, a covering letter and other relevant documents, and day time personal number.
