Commercial Partnerships Manager, International & Regional Payments

Education: BA/BS required; MSc/MA/MBA or comparable work experience desired

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and growing the business for the organisation.

You will establish and build relationships with strategic partners and drive the adoption of our solution in the region (E. Africa) as the Money Transfer Operator of choice for regional and international remittances.

Responsibilities:

Initiate structure and negotiate high impact partnerships locally and across the regionOwn and drive quarterly and annual performance targetsOwn and drive transaction volumes to meet quarterly revenue targetsIdentify new potential partners to enhance the value of our service to customersRepresent the organisation at industry events, describing the benefits of working with the organisationDevelop deep relationships with the regional banking network to drive adoption of the service as a banking solution.Work with internal Product and Engineering teams to define and shape new offeringsUnbridled passion for working in a venture-backed startupRelevant work experience in international transfersProven track record in developing and executing strategic sales plans through strong client relationships, resulting in consistently exceeding goalsStrong analytical skills, with proven ability to share insights that drive results and customer valueOutstanding teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills, with tremendous attention to detail.Proven ability to solve customer problems and technical issues, pro-actively creating solutions through cross-functional collaboration.Logical thinker, able to work across technical, contractual and financial disciplinesDeep understanding of industry issues, a vision for growth and a passion to build the organizations position in the industryWilling to travel internationally if the need arises.If you believe you have what it takes please send your resume including 3 referees and a cover letter to:
