Reporting to the director, successful candidate will Analyze, plan; manage and examine accounting process to ensure that effective financial service provided meets the government standards and the needs of company’s business
Academic Requirements and experience
Bachelor of Commerce degree Accounting /Finance option or equivalent related degreeCPA(K)Served as Auditor or a comparable and relevant position in the public service or private sector for a minimum period of 3 yearsDemonstrate outstanding professional competence, leadership qualities and high integrityMembership of the Institute of Internal Auditors ( IIA) or Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) an added advantageAge 30 - 37 yearsThorough knowledge in accounting and auditing proceduresAbility to plan and execute auditsHands on skills in relevant computer packages and computerized management information systemsStrong analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsEnsure that all the organization systems and process are efficientInternal control systems are adequate and that assets are efficiently utilized and safeguardedAuditing the books of accounts and all payments vouchers for all financial obligations before funds are released for paymentsPreparing annual reportsEnsuring maintenance of high audit standards within the organization and adherence to plans, budgets and work schedules, ensuring compliance with existing regulations, instructions and procedures in financial and other operation.Formulating and implementing annual audit plansGuiding the external auditorsTerms of service: Permanent
Salary: Ksh 26,323/-
Allowances:
House: Ksh10, 000/-
Medical: Ksh1, 250/-
Commuter: Ksh1, 800/-
