Nutrition Project Officer
(2 Positions)
Duration: 1 year
Reporting to: Project Manager
Job summary
To provide hands-on support to the MoH (Ministry of Health) staff and other partners/community groups to enhance their capacity and knowledge in the delivery of essential nutrition services; management of acute malnutrition, IYCF, micronutrient supplementation, community mobilisation and other preventive services.
The Project officer will also support the project manager in liaising closely with MoH (health facilities) and partners to develop referral systems to increase access to nutrition services and other relevant programmes not provided in the Concern supported nutrition programme, strengthen planning, M&E and logistics systems with regards to nutrition activities, participate in reviews, evaluation and other programme documentation while ensuring the activities meet humanitarian standards.
The officer will be expected to represent Concern at districts coordination and partners meetings.
Essential Experience and Skills
Should have experience implementing IYCF at health facility and community; knowledge of MoH systems, particularly at the provincial and district level and experience working with and through local partners.
Must be familiar with public health approach, have good computer and report writing skills.Programme Support Officer - Reporting & Documentation
Job Location: Based at the Nairobi office with some travel to field offices
Reports To: Programme Managers (2)
Job Summary
The position holder will report jointly to two Programme Managers based in Nairobi.
She/he will be responsible for providing necessary programme support to the assigned programmes by liaising with logistics, finance and administration as well as be responsible for programme record keeping, documentation and reporting support. This may include liaison with partners as required.
Essential Experience and Skills
