Job Description
Company Profile :- It is Indias one of the largest group with 7 major companies with interests in real estate, FMCG, industrial engineering, appliances, furniture, security and agri care – to name a few – with turnover in excess of USD 3.3 billion .
This group company is a leader among Indias Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, with leading Household and Personal Care Products.They also have a strong emerging presence in markets outside India.
They ahve own international brands and trademarks in Europe, Australia, Canada, Africa and the Middle East. As a part of increasing global footprint, they have also recently acquired a leading medicated brand in West Africa, a leading household care company in Indonesia and two leading hair colorant companies in Argentina.
Responsibilities :- There are 2 positions one each in Tanzania and other in Uganda for their Operations by acquiring a local leading Haircare company
These will be typical accounting roles including monthly consolidation and finalization of accounts, MIS, statutory compliance, ensuring corporate governance, managing tax audits etc. This position will report into the Cluster Finance head based in Kenya and will administratively report to the business heads in the respective countries.
Uganda company will be under the Kenyan company directly and will come e under the Indian Group umbrella once they acquire the company 2-3 yrs.
Candidate Profile :- Should have passed CA in first or second attempt
CA Batch : 2005, 2006, 2007
Preferably a Bachelor
Preferably should be currently working in Africa (Indians working in India will also do)Knowledge of SAP/ERP Accounting Systems will be desirable.
