Our client is a well established printing press seeking to hire an Occupational Safety & Health Assistant currently or previously working in the a manufacturing set up.
The main role is to assist in the observation of the Occupational Safety & Health regulations and adherence to OSHA. Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the factory is compliant to regulations from Department of Occupation Safety & HealthHandling paperwork and compliance issues from DOSHAssist in the implementation of guidelines from the Occupation Safety & Health ActAssist in the induction of staffHandle Safety trainingsInformation dissemination regarding safety in the place of workWaste Management within company premisesTaking part in risk Assessment, pest control and workplace InspectionsAssist in relevant license application and reportingLiaise with government and external trainers regarding OSHA Any other duties assignedHolder of a Technical DiplomaMinimum of 2 years’ experience handling Occupational, Safety & Health proceduresExperience in a similar capacity is highly preferredIntegrity and leadership abilitiesPeople skillsAbility to organize and run operationsIf you are up to the challenge, posses the necessary qualification and experience, please send your CV only quoting the job title on the email subject (Occupational, Health & Safety Assistant Ksh 30K- 40K Gross) to vacancies@corporatestaffing.co.ke before 16th June 2014
