The Revenue Manager is responsible
for the oversight of the onlines revenue cycle.
This position will identify and
improve operational processes that drive the company’s overall revenue
performance and optimize the full revenue cycle.
Additionally, this position will
actively seek opportunities to streamline and automate internal processes to
minimize labor costs and improve accuracy in the billing and collections
process.
This position will supervise a team
of clerical staff that process patients for insurance eligibility and
authorization, and estimation of patient financial responsibility.
Principal Responsibilities
- Analyzes and reports revenue performance to
achieve company goals for cash collections, reimbursements and bad debt
reduction. - Manages the eligibility, estimation and
authorizations process, including claim denials to maximize revenue. - Drives improvement of time of service
collections through training and monitoring of metrics. - Develops metrics to ensure that the external
billing company is meeting contractual standards. - Provides monthly reporting to management for
receivables, revenue and cash collection. - Audits a monthly and quarterly sample of
charge data in support of the annual external audit process. - Monitors the physician portal and coordinates
with modality managers to facilitate coding requests.
- Diploma/degree in marketing course
- More than 3 years’ experience on the same
capacity in a 3 or 4 star hotel - Proven online active database and good IT
skills
