Slaughter House Butchers Jobs in South Sudan

A Slaughter House in South Sudan is looking for Butchers.

The successful candidate MUST have previous experience working in a slaughterhouse as well as butcher shops.

Key Responsibilities;

• Cut, trim, skin, sort and wash viscera of slaughtered animal and separate edible portion from offal.


• Slaughter animals in accordance with religious laws and ensure the carcasses meet religious laws.


• Slit open, eviscerate and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals.


• Remove bones and cut meat into standard cuts in preparation for marketing.


• Trim, clean and/or cure animal hides.


• Shackle hind legs of animals to raise them for slaughtering or skinning.


• Skin sections of animals or whole animals.


• Trim head meat and server/remove parts of animal heads or skulls.


• Saw, split or scribe carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handling.


• Grind meat into hamburger & into trimmings used to prepare sausages, luncheon meats & other products.


• Stun animals prior to slaughtering.

Requirements

• MUST have at least 1-6 years experience working as a butcher in a slaughterhouse or butcher-shop.


• Good communication skills.

Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh.40, 000/= Plus accommodation, transport and food (Approx. 400 USD) depending on experience
