Career Opportunity: Health Systems Strengthening Program Manager, Meru County
Fio Corporation is seeking a health systems strengthening program manager to lead an exciting opportunity based in Meru County, Kenya, with responsibility for planning and delivering a transformative, technology - driven, primary healthcare program in the County.
With a strong business and field operations mindset, the Program Manager, will collaborate extensively with local healthcare managers, M&E officers and Fio staff to:
- Determine technical specifications, product requirements, and ways in which Fionet can interoperate with other systems to deliver quality health services and data-driven decision making
- Ensure day-to-day operations of Fionet deployment run smoothly
- Expand the program in both clinical scope and number of facilities
- Develop and deliver training to service providers
Qualifications
- Well-versed in the challenges faced in low-resource health care operations pertaining to coordination of care and Health Management Information Systems.
- University educated in medicine or allied professions with experience in health services delivery
- 10+ years’ experience in health services delivery in LMICs (preferably Kenya)
- Strong IT/technical background, e.g. networking, mobile technology
- Project management expertise deploying ehealth programs
- Knowledgeable about Kenyan eHealth policy, guidelines and reporting requirements
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and Swahili
