Production Manager
Our client, a fast growing Outdoor Advertising company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a Production Manager to be involved with the planning, coordination and control of production processes. The successful candidate MUST be knowledgeable of the advertising industry especially signage.
Key Responsibilities;
- Be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
- Product design and purchasing while working closely with other marketing, sales and finance departments.
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
- Developing the human and material resources needed together with management.
- Creating a timescale for each job and estimating costs.
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Responsible for the selection and maintenance of production equipment.
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
- Working and liaising with managers to implement the company"s policies and goals.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Supervising and motivating production workers while reviewing their performance and identifying their training needs.#
Qualifications;
- Must have 3 years experience in production management, preferably in the advertising industry.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must have strong leadership skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 100,000 - 150,000/= (Approx. 1,000 - 1,500 USD) depending on experience
