Production Manager

Our client, a fast growing Outdoor Advertising company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a Production Manager to be involved with the planning, coordination and control of production processes. The successful candidate MUST be knowledgeable of the advertising industry especially signage.

Key Responsibilities;

• Be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.


• Product design and purchasing while working closely with other marketing, sales and finance departments.


• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.


• Developing the human and material resources needed together with management.


• Creating a timescale for each job and estimating costs.


• Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.


• Responsible for the selection and maintenance of production equipment.


• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.


• Working and liaising with managers to implement the company"s policies and goals.


• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.


• Supervising and motivating production workers while reviewing their performance and identifying their training needs.#

Qualifications;

• Must have 3 years experience in production management, preferably in the advertising industry.


• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.


• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.


• Must  have strong leadership skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 100,000 - 150,000/= (Approx. 1,000 - 1,500 USD) depending on experience
