Our client is a fast growing community microfinance banking institution and they seek to hire an experienced and dynamic ICT Manager who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure programs. 

Key Responsibilities

• To offer the first line of support for the Core Banking system and all other systems for the entire Organization.


• Design, develop, implement & coordinate systems, policies and procedures.


• Ensuring security of data, network access and back-up systems.


• Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.


• Monitor & maintain technology to ensure maximum access.


• Reports configuration and data base management.


• Negotiate with vendors and service contractors to ensure high level of return consistent with services rendered.


• Preparation of an ICT strategy to support business growth in line with the bank’s Strategic plan


• Create and maintain documentation for supported ICT systems in accordance with ICT policy standards.


• Plan, organize, control & evaluate IT &electronic data operations


• Set up and train the users.


• Managing ICT budget


• Ensuring adherence with software licensing laws


• Any other task as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering


• At least 4 years experience in similar role


• Certification in core areas of networking, cabling, ERP software, database management, Microsoft back office and office automation products will be an added advantage.


• High level of professionalism, enthusiasm.


• Result oriented, Problem analysis and problem-solving


• Works with minimal supervision and stress tolerant


• Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and co-operation
