Project and Construction Manager Job in Kenya

Our client is looking for a Project and Construction Manager who is to look after building projects from start to finish
 

Job Description

• He must be able to work with operational software and monitor labour target rates


• Present costs for variations


• Keep all project paperwork for claims; Delays and Variations


• Look after foreman and Clerk of Works to ensure timely completion


• Complete client snag lists to the highest level


• Has to have a clear ability to discuss daily site issues over the phone


• Clear understanding of building regulations and procedures to meet those standards


• A responsible leader, not a drinker and be prepared to travel between sites in company vehicles


• Importantly the client is a bush based company, he must be able to deal with the wild, sleep rough if need be and be part of the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, such as building science, construction management or civil engineering


• Experience as a Project and construction Manager for a minimum of 3 years


• Have general experience in construction for not less than 5 years


• Be open minded


• Ready for all types of working environments
