Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager

Our client, an established IT software company in Nairobi, is seeking a dynamic, result and target oriented individuals to join its dedicated team immediately. 

The Manager will be responsible for leading the team in generating sales and more revenues.

Salary: KShs 20K - 25K + Commission.
 

Positions: 1
 

Location: Nairobi
 

 

Start Date: Immediate

Duties / Responsibilities:

• A self starter with the ability to combine sales and marketing duties and also drive a sales team under minimal supervision


•  Monitor the market, competition


• Ensuring monthly/quarterly sales targets are consistently achieved


• Developing  and executing successful sales plans.


• Generate sales leads. He/she will have a target of leads that should be generated in a month.


•  Discover new avenues/channels to market our product


• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products etc.


• Create, customize and conduct proposal presentations based on target customer.


• Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.


• Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.


• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Proven ability to mentor sales staff to achieve greater sales figures


• Proven ability to work in a self disciplined & proactive manner.


• Proven ability to plan ahead.


• Proven ability to carry out direct selling


• Proven track record of hitting targets


• Age: 30 years and above


• Minimum 3 years experience in sales and marketing


• Experience selling bulk SMS will be an added advantage
